I would like to create a plone site for academic purposes. The idea is to use it with my students for studing mathematics and related subjects, for example conceptual maps on mathematical subjects, animations, images, problem solving, etc. I think that blackboard only is not enought and the utilization of Information and Comunication Technologies is important for teaching and learning purposes. I want a Plone site because is a technology that can grow and have enought versatility for the future. At the same time being made in python is a plus for me because I can imagine a future where this language is used for teaching, so my students and other people will extend plone and our site and may be we can migrate to our own server when we have the proper resources.
